Putting Your Money Where Your Heart Is

I don't know if I'd have been willing to feed the 5,000 but maybe if the time comes, I shall try.

Breathless

I have to continually be reminded that I am living towards something eternal. I hope that in whatever I do and may do, it would be to glorify You.

Mad Bowlin

Christian came by to Walnut and we had a neat ice breaking session. Later in the day, we met up with our old friend, Philip, to get some L&L. And ladies...DP's back.

Enjoying Now

DSEM had a nice day out at the beach on Saturday, to get some drizzle in the morning and clear skies in the afternoon.

Stars in Our Eyes

Friday, I went to Tahoe Korean BBQ to celebrate Jason's 23rd birthday and got to see old friends again and afterwards, Walnut's class of 04 met at one of LA's finest azn clubs, Opera Crimson, in celebration of Patty, Steffi, and Kathy's birthday. This rung true today: One's character is truly seen and tested in situations in which one was not expecting or prepared for.

An Ode to Berkeley

I came across my old phone with some pictures I had taken from a few years back. An unexpected wave of nostalgia crashed into my brain. I nearly drowned.

What's My Age Again?

Lots of birthdays this month. Patty, Irene, and I hit up Steamers in Fullerton, which offered live jazz with blastin trumpets. Happy birthday Patty!

The Happiest Place on Earth

With a gracious offer from John and a little help from youtube, the recordings shall begin.

Seeing Old Friends

It's already almost been one year since we were in Kenya. Terrence put it well, "The key to youth is serving as a missionary in Kenya." It must be their chai and coffee.

It was not until I graduated did the phrase "a penny saved, a penny earned" ring so true.
